We are on our way home. We just stopped for dinner in San Marcos. We should be home by 10:00 PM. Pray for our safety as we travel. We’ll see you soon.

We have enjoyed our day off at Sea World and we are about to head home. The time is 3:30 and everyone is gathering by the front gate. We should be on the road by 4:00 (assuming everyone is on time). We should arrive to Legacy before 9:00 PM. Pray for our safety as we travel home today.

We finished our dinner at the Alamo Cafe and we are now in beautiful downtown San Antonio on the river walk. We just took a group picture in front of the Alamo and we are walking around enjoying the cooler evening. We plan to meet back up at 9:15 and head back to the church for our last night in San Antonio.

Well, here we are on our last day with the kids at Urban Connection. Our teens are doing wonderfully, and I think the Urban kiddos are starting to pick up on the fact that we are not going to be back tomorrow. Our teens are sad to leave them because of the great bonds that they’ve made. We are tired but we keep pushing on in order to fullfill our mission of being Jesus in this community. We are about half way through our day. We are teaching them that Jesus loves them and died for them. We are teaching them that Jesus wants them to love others the way that he loves them. We may not see the fruit of our labor, but we have seen Gods work being done. Keep praying for us. Pray that we can have a great afternoon. And that we don’t get rained out from the river tonight. It looks like rain right now but, let’s be honest, we live in Texas. It could be clear skies in 20 minutes.

Just wanted to clairify a point to my previous. The “threads” that Satan are weaving are things like fatigue, stress, impatience, and the temptation to stop being Jesus to these kids. We are doing wonderfully otherwise. Our kids are getting along well with each other and we are working hard.
Our kids are doing a fantastic job and message of Christ’s love is being spread to many.
Thanks for your prayers.

We just finished up our morning lesson and rotations. Today we are learning about the catch of many fish and Jesus walking on the water. Our theme for today is that Jesus wants us to trust in him.
Continue to pray for us. We are tired and Satan is trying to weave threads. We need your prayers.

Day 2 at Urban Connection – we are here and started with our day. We are tired from yesterday but our gracious cooks made us eggs and bacon for breakfast. It was delicious. We are in our rotation groups and are very grateful that we have fewer kids today. We are learning not to worry because Jesus takes care of us. I’ll update at lunch.
